Zoomify: “The Starry Night” & Pollock
Lightroom, Photography, Photoshop, Travel January 9th. 2008, 7:37amCheck out these two examples of Photoshop CS3’s Zoomify automation from our recent trip to the MoMA in New York City:
- Vincent Van Gogh - The Starry Night
- Jackson Pollock Close-Up
I love how you can zoom in and see the individual brush strokes - even though they were both handheld shots.
Zoomify allows you to maintain the full resolution of your image without the risk of someone coming along and easily downloading it for themselves. It works great for panos so you don’t have to worry about your web browser auto-sizing it on lower-res monitors.
To make your own, simply go to File>Export>Zoomify and follow the instructions there.
