Competico’s Winter Holiday Photo Contest
One of my past sponsors, Competico.com, recently contacted me about a pretty huge photo contest they are running between now and the 12th of January. For those of you not familiar, Competico is an online photo contest site that offers cash prizes for submissions to their regular on-going series of photo contests.
Their Winter Holiday Photo Contest 2009 is billed as their biggest contest of the year with the winners receiving a share of up to $50,000! And they have been so gracious as to invite me to be a member of their judging panel for the contest. Read on to find out more….
Here’s how it works, between now and January 12th, head over to the Competico Photo Contest site and follow their process to join the site and submit your winter or holiday themed photos. Then, invite your friends, family, blog visitors, Facebook friends, Twitter followers, everyone to visit the contest page (by using this link) to vote for your photos.
The winners will be announced on January 15th and will be selected as a combination of votes received and the votes of the members of the judging panel, myself included. The 1st place winner will win 60% of the total cash prize. 2nd place will get 25%. And 3rd, 15%.
The entry fee for the contest is $100/photo but if you enter by 9pm (Eastern) on December 17th you will have the opportunity to enter two photos for the price of one!

I have seen the judging panel and it does not mention you on the judging panel just two other people i am curious to why you say you are on the panel Confused???
You have to scroll down to see me. I’m on there. They actually didn’t get the response they were hoping for as far as entries go, so I believe they are going to cancel the contest, unfortunately.
