About
My name is Jason D. Moore and I run the blog Jason D. Moore Photography as a Photoshop & Digital Photography Community where creative people of all skill levels can come and learn more about our shared passion for the art of photography.
It is a passion of mine to not only take photos and find new and interesting ways to process them, but to share that passion with others. Through this Photography & Photoshop Community I strive to educate, inspire, and include my readers through my various projects and initiatives so not only will I develop in my own work but, more importantly, that they may grow in their’s.
In my 5 daily posts here during the week I try to touch on all 3 of these areas. I work to educate by offering tips, techniques and tutorials from both myself as well as other Photographers and creative professionals working in the field today and by offering photo reviews, Q&A sessions, and product reviews and by offering Photoshop and Digital Photography Workshops. I also try to inspire my readers by sharing my own work, highlighting the work of other photographers, and by hosting photo contests each month. Beyond that, I always hope to include my readers as much as I can. To that end, in addition to what I’ve already mentioned, I host a number of photo projects, lead photowalks, and support and encourage projects that my readers are passionate about.
With Rob Jones, of Towner Jones Photography LLC., I am co-founder of the TJM Media Group, a Photoshop and photography training resource with the goal of helping you reach your creative potential.

Personal:
I reside in Johnson City, NY, USA – near Binghamton, close to the Pennsylvania border – with my wife Kim – (October 13, 2007), a talented artist and elementary school art teacher – our son Liam Alexander (4/14/10) and our dachshund Milo. I have a BA cum laude from Boston University and have circumnavigated the globe through the Semester at Sea study abroad program. I’m a cinefile, traveler, and lover of the outdoors.
