I might be getting final word on something that’s been in process for a couple of weeks now later this morning and will post an update once I get back to my computer later on today or tonight.
Also, a reminder, this week’s Geographic Composition is being posted tomorrow (”Transition”) so, contributors, please get your images to me today!
And if you’re in the Binghamton area, or know anyone who is, sign up for the Binghamton leg of Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photowalk on August 23rd!

Welcome to week #88 of The Photoshop & Photography Blogroll’s P&P Weekly!
Kim and I are moving at the end of the week and will be spending the evenings finishing up our sorting and packing. We got a lot done over the weekend but there’s still more to do.
The Binghamton leg of the photowalk is constantly being updated as we get tips about cool and interesting locations to shoot. You can get all of the latest information and signup here for the Binghamton Photowalk.
Click here to become a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
And as always, take a moment to grab one of the chicklet links to show your support for this blog and, for blogroll members, be sure to pick up your P&P Blogroll Member badge link.
Here’s what’s been happening in The Photoshop & Photography Blogroll, courtesy of our friends Andy Smith, Jason Anderson, and Mike Palmer. Thanks Guys!

The school board met last night to officially approve the appointment of Kim to her new teaching position and I couldn’t be more proud of and excited for her that she is finally getting to do what she’s been dreaming of and working so hard for all these years.
We’re down in Binghamton today scouting the location for our portion of Friend-of-the-Blog Scott Kelby’s Worldwide Photowalk. There’s still plenty of time to signup for the August 23rd photowalk (and you do have to register on the website) so head on over and get your name in today. And remember that if there isn’t a photowalk near you, today is the last day to sign up to become a walk leader.
Have a good weekend everyone!

This has been a strange blogging week for me because we’ve been doing sound for a local summer theater group’s production of Beauty and the Beast in the evenings and my schedule is just all thrown off.
Here’s a look at what I have planned for the rest of this week:
- Thursday - Geographic Composition
- Friday - P&P Weekly
In the meantime, head on over to the Worldwide Photowalk Site! New cities are added all the time. I just got an email from their webmaster and he said he’s been swamped with requests to host a walk.
Also, for those of you in Upstate NY, we’re just waiting on confirmation about the location for our next Photoshop user group meeting which will follow the photowalk on the 23rd. So mark your calendars and check back here and on our website for more information.

Yesterday morning I got an email from Friend-of-the-Blog Scott Kelby about an upcoming event. You may have read on his blog or seen on Photoshop User TV his announcements about something big coming on Saturday August 23rd. And let me tell you, after talking with Scott, it’s going to be REALLY BIG!
Though I can’t tell you anything about it until he makes the official announcement, I can tell you that he’s asked me to take on a leadership role for one portion of the larger event. And I’m really excited to see how it all comes together! I’ll have updates periodically as I can as this big event takes form.
Thanks, Scott, for inviting me to be a part of this awesome project!
In other news, the Upstate Photoshop User Group is now officially a part of the Adobe User Group Community! We’re in the process of scheduling our next meeting for late August in Binghamton.
So stay tuned for more details all around!
