New Points of View Photo Project Image
Ok, since I haven’t gotten any submissions for this week’s Points of View Photo Project as of yet, and I’ve heard that it wasn’t the best source image to use, I’ve decided to offer up an alternate.
Points of View Project Extended
We all seem to be getting back on our feet and up to speed with the new year.
So, with that in mind, I’m extending the deadline for the Points of View Photo Project another week to give you all a chance to participate. Scroll down to the post from the 5th to grab the source image and send me your interpretations by next Thursday for inclusion.
In the meantime, come back Monday for our first edition of my new regular guest blogger series!

Points of View Photo Project: #20
Welcome to week #20 of the Points of View Photo Project!
This will be the final edition of the project for 2009 and it will begin again with a new source image after the new year.
It has been such a treat for me over the course of this project to see all of the different interpretations there have been of my originals. Some have been dramatic, some whimsical, some similar, some surreal, all unique. Thank you to everyone who has participated so far, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with in the coming weeks.

Welcome to the 19th edition of the weekly Points of View Photo Project!
Each week I post a source image that is the out-of-the-camera original and offer it up for anyone who would like to take a shot at processing it. This isn’t a contest, this isn’t about who is better, it’s simply a chance to experiment and have fun.

Points of View Photo Project Reminder
I know I let it slip last week, in lieu of a software review for the Topaz Adjust Photoshop Plugin but I am still accepting participants for the next Points of View Photo Project.
All the information you need is in the last Points of View post and if you send your version of the image by tonight at 10pm (Eastern) I’ll be sure to include it in the gallery for the project.
The main purpose of this project is to get your creative energy flowing. Everyone sees the finished product in a different way and it’s interesting to discover how each participant in the project takes their own distinct path from the same starting point.
A second goal – and perhaps more important than the first – is to get you involved. This blog, in its current incarnation, was started to build up a community of creative people who are passionate about Photoshop and Photography. And one way of doing that is through these projects. I know that this site, and your experience here, will be enriched the more active participation we see. So please, send in a finished image for the project. Send in a photo to be reviewed. Write a guest blog post or article. Get involved!
